About Sound Body & Mind Psychiatric Services

Sound Body & Mind Psychiatric Services

About Eva Theodosiadis, MD, FAPA

At Sound Body & Mind Psychiatric Services, we recognize that both emotional and physical factors contribute to the development of psychiatric symptoms. Genetics, environment and specific stressors or traumatic events can also play an important role. Finally, an individual's character, personality, temperament, and resilence all contribute to the clinical picture, and can shape the types of symptoms we see and the prognosis. No two individuals are exactly alike and therefore, no two individuals experience psychiatric symptoms in the exact same way. This is why we create a unique treatment plan to target your specific experience.

At Sound Body & Mind Psychiatric Services, you can choose from evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to meet your individual needs. A Board Certified Psychiatrist will help you choose from treatments such as CBT, brief-psychodynamic therapies, or DBT, either as the primary modality or in combination with evidence-based pharmacologic treatment.

We specialize in the treatment of couples and families and in the pharmacological treatment of childhood mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Other services such as play therapy, Trauma-focused CBT, and School Consultation and Classroom Observation are available upon request. Clients of all ages welcome.
